Morphology
After 3 days colonies expanding, flat, smooth, moist, tough, initially with pinkish tinges, soon becoming olivaceous black.? Expanding hyphae non-septate.? Mature hyphae wide, densely septate, forming thick-walled chlamydospores.? Conidia formed percurrently on undifferentiated hyphae, hyaline, non-septate, smooth- walled, ellipsoidal, of variable size, often budding, finally becoming 1-septate and olivaceous brown.
